Frank H. Laukien, PhD, is the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer since February 1991 and largest stockholder of Bruker Corporation. He is also a director of various subsidiaries of Bruker, none of which are publicly traded companies. Laukien served as a director of ALDA for several terms in the past, including as its Chairman from 2002 to 2003. Laukien was a member of the Dean’s Advisory Committee of the MIT School of Science until 2014, and a Trustee of the Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts until 2013. In May 2017, he was elected a senator of acatech, the German National Academy of Science and Engineering. In 2021, Laukien was appointed as a Visiting Scholar (part-time, unpaid) at the Department of Chemistry & Chemical Biology at Harvard University. Laukien holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from MIT, as well as a PhD in chemical physics from Harvard.
